Delivery

Cute Cakes & Co offers refrigerated cake delivery across selected Brisbane suburbs.

Our delivery service is handled by our own team and refrigerated vehicles, helping us keep cakes and treats cold, protected and carefully handled throughout the delivery run.

Delivery Availability

Delivery is available Monday to Saturday.

We do not offer delivery on Sundays.

Delivery availability is subject to your postcode, selected date, product availability and our daily delivery capacity.

Delivery fees are calculated according to your delivery area and are shown during checkout.

Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery is available Monday to Friday only, for selected products and eligible Brisbane delivery areas.

Orders must be placed before 10:00am Brisbane time.

Please note that 10:00am is the latest advertised cut-off time and does not guarantee same-day availability.

Same-day delivery is subject to our daily production, staffing and delivery capacity.

Cute Cakes & Co reserves the right to close same-day delivery earlier than the advertised cut-off time if capacity has been reached.

Once a same-day date or delivery option is no longer available to select on our website, we are unable to accept additional same-day deliveries for that date.

Delivery Times

Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

On the morning of your delivery, we will send a text message with an estimated 1-hour delivery window.

This window is an estimate and may change due to traffic, weather, parking, delays at earlier deliveries, road conditions or other circumstances affecting the delivery run.

If your cake is required for an event at a specific time, we strongly recommend arranging delivery for the day before wherever possible.

Delivery Address & Recipient Details

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide:

• the correct delivery address;
• clear delivery instructions where required; and
• a valid mobile number for the person receiving the order.

Our drivers will attempt to contact the recipient if required.

Drivers cannot wait for extended periods, search large premises or remain at a delivery address while waiting for someone to arrive.

If the recipient cannot be contacted, is unavailable to receive the order, or the delivery address or contact information provided is incorrect, the order may be returned to our Mitchelton store.

You may then arrange collection or request another delivery.

An additional delivery fee will apply if a second delivery is required.

Hospitals, Hotels & Campuses

Hospital deliveries are made to reception or another approved handover area only. We cannot deliver directly to wards, rooms or patients.

Hotel deliveries may be left with reception or concierge.

University and campus deliveries require clear building details, a nominated delivery point and the recipient’s mobile number.

Locations We Cannot Deliver To

For safety, access and cake-quality reasons, we may be unable to deliver to locations including:

• airports;
• parks;
• playgrounds;
• open public spaces;
• green spaces;
• picnic areas without a fixed address; or
• locations without safe loading or handover access.
• Permission to Leave

We prefer cakes to be handed directly to a person wherever possible.

If you provide written permission for us to leave your order unattended, you are responsible for nominating a safe, undercover and suitable location.

Please do not request that cakes be left:

• in direct sunlight;
• in rain;
• on the ground;
• outside unsecured apartment buildings;
• on bins;
• in exposed public areas; or
• anywhere that may expose the order to heat, weather, insects, theft or damage.

Where you have authorised us to leave an order unattended, Cute Cakes & Co cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft, weather exposure, insects, melting or damage occurring after the order has been safely delivered to the nominated location, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Damage During Delivery

If something happens to your order while it is still in the care of Cute Cakes & Co, please notify the driver immediately where possible.

We will assess the situation and work with you on an appropriate resolution.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, remake, replacement, redelivery, refund or another remedy where applicable.

Collection is available during the opening hours displayed on our website.

Please ensure your order is collected before close of business on your confirmed collection date.

Same-Day Collection

Same-day collection is available Monday to Friday only for selected products.

Orders must be placed before 12:00pm Brisbane time.

Please note that 12:00pm is the latest advertised cut-off time and does not guarantee same-day availability.

Same-day collection is subject to production capacity and product availability.

Cute Cakes & Co reserves the right to close same-day collection earlier than the advertised cut-off time if capacity has been reached.

Your Selected Collection Date

Your order will be prepared for the collection date confirmed at checkout.

Only dates shown as available and able to be selected in our online calendar can be booked.

Unavailable dates cannot be selected, held or reserved.

If you request a different collection date after placing your order, the change is only confirmed once Cute Cakes & Co has approved it and confirmed the change with you by email.

Until you receive that confirmation, your original collection date remains unchanged.

Transporting Your Cake

Cakes are delicate and temperature-sensitive.

When transporting your order, please keep it:

• cold;
• flat and level;
• securely positioned;
• out of direct sunlight; and
• in an air-conditioned vehicle where possible.

We recommend placing cakes on a flat surface such as the passenger footwell — never on a seat or lap.

Cake-care and transportation information will be provided with your order.

Once an order has been collected, Cute Cakes & Co cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by incorrect transportation, handling, storage or set-up after the product has left our care.

Nothing in this Shipping & Collection Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
