Chocolate Mud Cake 

If you have a craving for a slice of chocolate cake heaven, our mud cake is your cure. With it's rich moist layers, it is lighter than most mud cake, (because we add extra free range eggs and buttermilk to keep it dreamy) then accompanying with the velvety milk chocolate buttercream, you'll be in cake love.

Light Vanilla Butter Cake
Our most popular cake flavour is this light buttery, oh-so fluffy vanilla cake. This cake will melt-in-your-mouth with its airy texture and the vanilla flavour will transport you straight back to your nana's kitchen.

 Buttery Biscoff 

This cake is sooo scrum-didilly-umptious, you'll be on the sweet side of paradise when you devouring it !!

Okay....Think of the delicious Belgium brown sugar & cinnamony spiced biscuits then add it to moist, fluffy cake -  oh-my-goodness the filling is smooth as whipped butter.

*Gluten-Free Salted Caramel

This is so many regular clients' favourite cake (including our graphic designer) ,  that just happen's to be gluten free (even though she's not gluten intolerant). Believe me, if you didn't read it in the title you'd never know it was a gluten free cake. 

This cake is perfectly balanced with the pinch of salt to adjust the sweetness of the caramel. So moor-ish, your friends and family will be lining up for seconds. 

*Whilst extreme care is taking, please note that we also have flour on our premises and therefore cannot guarantee it will be it will be 100% gluten-free.

VEGAN  Red-Velvet: 

Whether you’re a committed vegan, have dietary restrictions, or simply love delectable desserts, our Vegan Red-Velvet cake is crafted to satisfy every sweet craving without compromise.

Our cake entirely from the finest plant-based ingredients. 
They are free from dairy, eggs, nuts, Soy*, gelatine and any animal products. - Enjoy guilt-free.

Our Moist Vegan Red Velvet cake has delicious Berry Bliss filling, - We make our own berry-coulis out of a combining seasonal strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries all direct from the growers of the Toowoomba region.
 All cakes are decorated in "not too sweet" vanilla dairy-free frosting.

*notes: some decorations such as Oreo's ( they are vegan) they do contain soy. 

 Ingredients/Allergen Information


We understand how crucial it is for our customers to have clear and accurate information about our baking ingredients and practices, especially when it comes to dietary needs. Here is an overview of our ingredients and practices

 

           Nuts :

  • We do not use or put any nuts in our cakes, cupcakes, batters or buttercream.

  • While are extreme care is taken to avoid any cross-contamination. Please be aware, we are a full scratch kitchen and there are nuts are present (mainly hazelnuts and almonds) 

  • Our external ingredients such as flour and chocolate are manufactured in factories that may process nuts. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that our products are 100% nut-free.

  • Please note that Macarons are made with almond meal and are used as decorations on our cakes 


    Gluten-Free:

    Our Gluten-Free Salted Caramel cake, as well as all our macarons and meringue kisses, are gluten-free.
    Despite taking extreme care when making our gluten-free range, we also store and use regular wheat flour in our premises and some ingredients we buy are produced in facilities that handle gluten.
     Therefore, we cannot guarantee our products are 100% gluten-free.

  • Measures to minimise gluten cross-contamination include:
    • First Bake of the Day: Gluten-free products are baked first each day.
    • Cleaning & Sterilization: Workspaces and utensils are thoroughly cleaned with hot soapy water and a commercial food-grade sanitizer before and after working on gluten-free products.
    • Storage: Gluten-free flour is stored separately to avoid cross-contamination.
    • Staff Training: Our staff is thoroughly trained to follow strict gluten-free protocols.

      Halal Products:

      Our cakes, cupcakes, macarons, buttercream and cookies Do Not contain gelatin or alcohol.

      Please note that some decorations on the finished cakes  contain a small amount of alcohol, theses are :
      • All the Sophia: The White sails
      • Mia: Edible gold paint on the sails
      • Axle: Edible gold paint on the cake
      • I Am Your Father: Edible gold paint
      • Amelia: Edible gold paint on the sails

  • Vegan: 

    Our Vegan (Red Velvet) cakes and cupcakes do not contain egg, dairy, gelatine, soy or nuts* ( See above for more nut information )  
    They do contain gluten, oil, vinegar, red food colour, sugar, coco-powder, salt, shortening, mixed berries and freeze dried berries( Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries), Lemon juice, oat milk.

    *Please note that Oreo's are vegan, however they do contain soy.

    We do operate as a full scratch kitchen. This means we handle and have on the premises known allergens such as dairy, nuts, gluten, soy, and eggs in our kitchen.
    Additionally, our flour and chocolate are manufactured in facilities that may process nuts and other allergens due to shared equipment. 


    Your and your guests, health and safety are paramount to us. 
    We advise you to consider this information carefully based on your individual situation and dietary needs.

    If you have severe allergies or intolerances, we recommend securing baked goods from a bakery that can guarantee 100% allergen-free products.

    Sizes and Serving

    How big are your cakes and how do I cut it up ? 

    This is a great question, and often ask so..... We offer three different diameter sizes.

    Most of our cakes are 15cm tall with four layers of the freshest, moistest, delicious cake and three layers of smooth, velvety Italian buttercream filling.

    With the exception of the Vintage, Karen, Melissa and Aubrey these are three layers of cake and two fillings, (approx. height is 11cm tall).

    This height is before we add the decoration, so they can be quite tall. 

    Delightful which serves 8-10* guests is 12 cm in diameter
    Marvellous which serves 15-20* is 15cm in diameter
    Wondrous which serves 20-25* is 18cm in diameter 

    Two Tier Cakes
    These sizes are a Wondrous base and Delightful top.
    Three layers of cake and two filling per tier
    Approximate height of the both of the tiers together is 25 cm, before any decoration
    Base board is 29cm diameter. 

    Mini Cute Cake Packs :
     Are the diameter of the Delightful size cake, however two layers of cake - 7.5 cm tall before the decoration. 

     

     

    When it comes to cutting your cake up to get the appropriate amount of serving - We have you covered 😊.

    The serve sizes are a party size serves.... which means not as big of slice as you get for a dessert on a plate but not as small as you would get at a wedding in those little bags. In-between... like you would eat with your fingers with a serviette.  

    We'll supply you with a QR code with a link to a "How to cut up your cake" video. You'll impress your guest with your newfound skills, to cut up your cake like a boss!!!

    *Please note, the serving size is a guide, it really depends on how generous you are with your portions.

    Same day delivery/pick-up when you place your order before 11am weekdays.

    Weekend orders must in before 5pm on Friday.

    Pickup from Mitchelton store:
    Monday to Friday: 9am till 4pm
    Saturday : 9am till 1pm
    Sunday : 9:30 till 11:30

    Delivery Times:
    Monday - Saturday (no deliveries on Sundays)

    AM Time  :  9am - 12:30
    PM Time :  12:30 -  5pm

    At the checkout you can nominate a delivery window. Unfortunately for delivery, we can't guarantee any particular time within our timeframes. If these times don't suit, you're more than welcome to collect your items from the store, or have them delivered the day before.

    Transport & Storage

    When transporting your cake, place it on a flat surface in the car. The best place is on the passenger side floor with the air conditioning blowing onto your feet.

    Keep your cake out of direct sunlight.

    Do Not leave your cake in the car attended.

    Do Not put your cake on the seat or on a lean.

    Keep your cake in the fridge.

    Your cake is best eaten at room temperature. We recommend taking your cake out of the fridge 2-3 hours before you plan on serving it. (The warmer the day the less time required to bring it to room temperature. The cooler the day the more time is required.)

    Remember to place your cake on a flat surface.

    If you receive your cake the day before your event, keep it in the fridge over night and it will be perfect for the following day!

    We recommend to enjoy your cake withing three days from it leaving our store. (Remember keep it in the fridge.)
